The Sound Barrier Acoustical Window Products were first developed in 1996. Recognizing the homeowner's desire for peace and quiet amid the noise pollution generated by our modern lifestyle, we made a significant investment in testing, R&D and engineering to create these products specifically designed for sound reduction. We have become one of the leading suppliers for sound abatement programs nationwide, supplying windows that could meet an STC rating as high as 44 - ratings required to meet FAA guidelines for replacement windows.

Armaclad's full line of products includes double hung windows, picture windows, two and three lite sliding windows, casements (single, twin vents, and three lites), awnings, and hoppers. Special shapes and factory assembled bays and bows are also available.

All Armaclad Sound Barrier double hung, slider and picture windows feature mitered fusion-welded sashes which are metal reinforced for added strength and durability. Features include:

Double hung Sound Barrier windows feature a stepped sill which reduces air infiltration and drafts, lowering energy usage. They also tilt-in for easy cleaning from the interior. Traditional in style, the Sound Barrier Double-hung is enhanced by what you don't see - engineering excellence.
